Unfortunately, after 5 years of struggling to make this business work, I’ve put down my pencils and paintbrushes. As many illustrators will attest to, it was too difficult to get clients to pay me fairly, in full and on time. Add to that having a day-job and being a mom and a house-elf, and there just wasn’t enough time or energy.
